Well, like everyone else I know, Parker has been sick for over a week now. It started the Sunday after Thanksgiving and is still lingering on. I guess this is really the first time he has been sick and for that I can be thankful. I always heard my sister and friends say "When your child is sick, everything shuts down." Now I know what they mean. You just stay in the house for days and days. The bright side to staying home was all my decorating is done, all presents wrapped and other things that needed to be done around the house have been completed. God does give us blessings amongst all the "crude"! So not only has Parker been sick with the running nose, chest congested, red ear and fever but he FINALLY cut 2 teeth. The bottom 2 on the front are in. I wish I could get a picture but he will not cooperate. So mommy intuition says that some of the fever and fussiness was also due to the teeth hurting.
I have been trying to take a picture for our Annual Christmas card for the last 2 days----my patience is TOTALLY being tested. We have always had a family picture of John, myself and Reagan our dog. But this year, John was so excited because he didn't have to pose for anymore Christmas card photos now that Parker was in our lives. So I decided to try and take a picture of Parker and the dog------yeah, not really happening. Parker will cooperate but not the dog. I am going to try it a couple of more times once John gets home and maybe he can help me get Reagan to sit or lay by Parker, if not I give up!!!
I have included a picture of the new Santa train that is running around our Christmas Tree. John brought it home one day this past week for Parker, but not quite sure WHO IT REALLY IS FOR! Parker is fasinated by it so all is well.

I wonder if we're related. Probably distant cousins. My grandfather, Henry Felsher was from Biloxi. See my website at www.JohnNFelsher.com.
