Bath Time

Now that Parker is pretty much sitting up by himself he loves splashing in the water. By the time we finish with bath-time the counter and floor are soaken wet. I just let him go because he is having so much fun. When the sitting up is mastered a little better I guess it will be time to move to the big-o-bathtub.

Life of the Party

It seems that Parker, even at 6 months old, is now on the birthday party guest list of all our friends and family. I used to laugh when my friends with children used to talk about all the birthday parties they were attending. Well, now the time has come for us. Two weeks ago we had 2 parties in 1 day and then last week we had another one. I guess Parker just has to get out his "partying" clothes and join in the fun!!

These are both pictures of Parker at Grayson's 6th Birthday Party 2 weeks ago. Grayson is my friend Shelley's oldest boy.

New Pictures

Since I haven't blogged in so long, here are a few new pictures of Parker. He is almost 6mo. old---on Wednesday the 19th.

I love the saucer. Mary Grace let us borrow it.

Here is the first attempts to eat with a spoon. Notice Reagan in the background---he has already learned that what falls on the floor is fair game!

Mom and John are both knocked out with Parker. At least it gives me time to get things done.

TEETHING-----AWG!!!!!!!

Well, the dreaded time of teething is here. I think Parker is cutting not 1, but 2 bottom teeth. I talk to John's mom yesterday and she told me John had a horrible time when he was a baby. That wasn't real reasuring for me. The past 2 weeks have been a little nerve-racking. I know Parker is in pain, but we are trying it all. The normal remedies, as well as the "old wife's tails". He seems to be a little better today, and I say that loosely. I just hope they break through soon. I was talking to my sister and asked her how long this lasts (since 2 weeks seemed like a perfectly long amount of time for them to come in), and she just chuckled. Her comment was "Oh, it has only just begun". THANKS STACY!!!!!! I guess all of you that are mothers that are reading this, are getting a chuckle too.
